Terms of Submission and Privacy Policy

The purpose of the policy is to outline the terms and conditions related to the submission of photographs, videos, audio samples and stories [hereafter called "User Submissions"] that will be placed on the St. Albert 150th Anniversary Celebration website. The Users Submissions will be about St. Albert's past and present. The User Submissions will become a part of the legacy of information related to the year-long celebration.

The St. Albert 150th Anniversary Celebration Committee will delegate authority to the project coordinator to work with jury committees to review and select the User Submissions they choose to post.

User Submissions

Submission of above-mentioned media constitutes consent and agreement by the entrant and any person that is recognizable from the User Submissions, to a royalty-free, world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, display, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works of the User Submissions or portions of thereof, whether or not combined with other images, text and graphics, and cropped, altered or modified, on the website and or potentially other places with or without the name, for educational, historical and archival purposes, without compensation. The Committee, its affiliates, officers, employees or volunteers shall not be liable for any errors in attribution.

Submission of material constitutes consent and agreement of the photographer/videographer/author and any person that is recognizable in the User Submissions that the Committee has the right to use the submission for its stated purposes and that they will make no claims for any reason against the Committee, its affiliates, officers, employees or volunteers.

The Committee is not responsible for any technical problems related to online entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by the Committee.
